Non-alcoholic mulled wine “Winter Miracle”
Barinoff Non-Alcoholic Mulled Wine with Pomegranate Juice Recipe
On a gloomy winter day, when sunlight is sorely lacking, it can be difficult to focus. You want to take a quick break and perk up, but how?
Sugar-free mulled wine with Barinoff pomegranate juice will help you warm up and get into a positive mood. This non-alcoholic mulled wine recipe is perfect for enjoying even on weekdays—the main thing is to drink it hot!
Nota bene: When making mulled wine, try to avoid using ground spices: they make the drink cloudy and difficult to filter.
Ingredients:
- a bottle of Barinoff pomegranate juice,
- a lemon,
- an orange,
- a lime,
- a cinnamon stick,
- a couple of star anise flowers,
- five cloves,
- five allspice berries.
Making Non-Alcoholic Mulled Wine
- Pour the pomegranate juice into a saucepan and simmer over low heat
- Cut the pomegranate into slices or wedges (whichever you prefer), drop them into the heated juice, and mix thoroughly.
- After a couple of minutes, add all the spices listed and, stirring occasionally, simmer, covered, over low heat for about 40 minutes. Be sure not to let it boil, otherwise the drink will be ruined!
That’s it, your non-alcoholic pomegranate mulled wine is ready! Strain the drink and serve, garnished with citrus wedges.
